30.6.20 Year 6 Update
Here are some key bits n bobs for our year 6, as we approach the end of the strangest term!
Last week of term (wb 13th July)
We would like to invite each class back for a leavers assembly. Each class will have a full day to return. They can come just for the assembly or stay for the whole day and be in groups within the year 6 classrooms.
We hope that children can attend this special occasion, however we fully understand if you do not want your child in school.
Weather permitting, we will hold the assembly outside
Due to the current circumstances, we are unable to invite parents but we will post some pictures and video to help you be part of their final Mortimer Assembly!
- 6RD – Monday 13th July
- 6FH – Tuesday 14th July
- 6EM – Wednesday 15th July
Please complete the following form to indicate your child’s attendance and wherever they are staying for the assembly or all day.
Hoodies
Pupils who are in school Tuesday 30th June or Wednesday 1st July, will receive their hoodie from their teacher.
For any child not attending this week, parents will receive a text today (Wednesday) allocating a 30min slot on Thursday 2nd July to collect their child’s hoodie. Please come at the given time and limit to one adult. Mr Maltby will be at the front of school to give the hoddies out.
Returns
Please can the following be returned to school as soon as possible:
· All library books
· 100 books
· Goodnight Mr Tom books
· School sports kit (football, netball etc)
