9.6.21

We hope you made the best of the nice weather during half term, whilst fully appreciating the difficulties for our year 2 families.

The year is quickly disappearing and children will soon be receiving reports and finding out who their next teacher will be! Before then, there is still lots going on…

Just a quick update…

  1. School Photos
  2. Sun protection
  3. Climate Change Week
  4. Library Books
  5. Face masks on site

  1. School Photos

Phototronics will be coming into school Thursday 10th June (Tomorrow)

Each child will have an individual photo taken, unfortunately there will be no sibling photographs this year due to current circumstances.  Also there will only be 1 group photo for the Year 6 leavers.

  1. Sun Protection

We are experiencing lots of warm sunny weather at present. Sun hats in school are very much welcomed as we attempt to enjoy the nice weather. Sun cream should be applied before coming to school.

  1. Climate Change Week

We will be taking part in Climate Change Week of Action the w/c June 28th. We would like to promote the reduction of plastic pollution by creating a display in school using plastic bottle tops. Please do not go out and buy bottles but can you keep any bottle tops that you use and send them into school. Please do not bring the actual bottles in: recycle these as you normally would.

4.Help us win £5000 of library books!

National Book Tokens are hosting a competition for one very lucky school to win £5000 of library books. We need your help to be in with the best chance of winning. If you would like to nominate us, please follow the link below and enter your details. If yours is the winning entry, you will also win £100 of book tokens for yourself. The more nominations we receive, the better our chances of winning.

  1. Face masks

Thanks to everyone who continues to wear a face mask whilst dropping off and picking up their children. Whilst not mandatory, it does add protection with lots of adults in close proximity.

Thank you as always for your support.
