Tuesday 31st March from 2:30pm – Foundation stage and KS1. More details to follow.
Wednesday 1st April for KS2 (Y3-Y6) Pupils only as they will visit the fayre during school time.
Parents can come into school on Wednesday 1st April before school up unitl 9:30am to see their child’s decorated Easter Egg.

We are pleased to be selling Sunderland AFC tickets once again from school. From each pair of ticket the school receives a percentage of money back which is used around the school.
Tickets cost £20 per pair (one child and one adult ticket) and additional tickets can be purchased at £10 each.
All ticket requests must be returned to the office by Friday 6th February 2015 by 3:30pm, we are sorry but we are unable to process any late returns.

Just a little reminder that wake up shake up restarts tomorrow at 8:30.
Choir and Miss Middleton’s recorder group are cancelled this week. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Wake up! Shake up! Will restart on Tuesday 13th January. Remember this club is open to all from year 1 upwards but siblings in reception may attend with older children. Children are asked to wait with their parents at the main entrance until they are welcomed in by a member of staff at 8:30am.
Before Christmas our talented choir performed at a number of different concerts. Here are some more of the children performing.

Don’t forget dinner money will be due on the first day back.
Dinner money is £10.50 per week. It should be sent in to school on the first day of each week (usually Mondays).

Cheques for dinner money should be made payable to BOST and should have your child’s name and class on the reverse.
Termly milk money is also now due. The cost per term is £9.10 (Cheques payable to BOST) Please pay in a separate envelope to dinner money during the first week of term. If it is not received during the FIRST WEEK OF TERM, it will be assumed your child does not require milk.

Winter message to be put on the website for Friday morning
Thank you for the marvelous support over the last term! We really appreciate the time taken by everyone to attend our Nursery and Infant nativities, Year 3/4 shows and Year 5/6 Carol concerts.
A huge thank you to everyone who participated in the Christmas Fayre and for helping us to raise money for ‘Save the Children’ charity through wearing Christmas jumpers to school.
It really has been a busy term and on behalf of staff and governors at Mortimer Primary School I would like to wish you and your families a very Happy Christmas and New Year.

To mark the start of our Christmas holidays we would like to invite all children to wear their Christmas jumpers, cardigans or t-shirts once again.
This is to be worn instead of their normal school jumper and to be worn with normal school uniform.
