Our nursery children have been cooking up a storm in the kitchen!
Our children in foundation and KS1 received a very special visit today a whole week early before the big event!
Yes, the man in red himself visited the children to give them an early treat before the start of their Christmas holidays.
Mortimer Primary was a whole lot more colourful today when so many of our children and staff supported Save the Children’s ‘Christmas Jumper Day’.
We held a whole school assembly to end this term and celebrate the start of the Christmas festivities and I am sure you will agree our hall looks very festive!
Both our morning and afternoon nursery children loved taking part in our book week activities this week and have made a great effort dressing as their favourite nursery rhyme character today.
School closes today, Friday 23rd October for half term, and will reopen Monday 2nd October.

Our children have once again had a brilliant book week. Both staff and children have enjoyed studying books by specific authors in each year group and basing our lessons around various texts. The enthusiasm from our children has been electric!
