Bob Knox from Northern Electric visited year 5 this week to talk about the dangers of electricity and how to keep safe.

He gave a fantastic talk and demonstration. Always a great day!

This term year 5 have been writing and creating books telling the Nativity story.

Every child in reception will receive a book that has been dedicated to them and the author will be going to reception and sharing their story with them.

Six Year 3 children worked with children from other schools at the Open Zone, St Wilfred’s RC College on Wednesday 19th November.

They worked with a local musician using African drums to learn rhythms and call and response songs. In workshop 2 they created short videos using iPads. They developed new skills and created a short movie using ‘iMovie’ and ‘I can animate’ software. The children can’t wait to share their new skills back at school.
