Dear Parents/Carers,
Unfortunately, our bus to Thurston has been rediverted back to school due to safety concerns. This decision has been made by the Local Authority who oversee all Thurston trips. This is due to an amber weather warning over the west of the country and issues with transport links. All children will remain in school for the rest of the day and be dismissed as usual. Hopefully, the children will be able to travel to Thurston tomorrow morning and we will update you as soon as possible. We are happy to house all suitcases/luggage overnight if parents request this. Thank you for your understanding. Mr P. Bennett |

For any interested or prospective parent, we warmly invite you to a ‘Meet the Governors’ session with the Head Teacher and members of the current governing body.

This will be a chance to hear about the role of the governing body and ask any questions you may have before nominations and expressions of interest.
This is a no-commitment opportunity to come and find out more about the role and how you can play a part.

Dear Parent/Guardian.
We’re getting in touch to advise that we’re hosting a Flu Immunisation catch-up session at Mortimer Primary School on 23 November 2023.
If your child has missed the Flu Immunisation session and you’ve already consented, they’ll be able to get it during this catch-up session. If your child already has received it as your doctor’s surgery, please let IntraHealth know as soon as you can so that your child does not receive this vaccination again.
If you’ve got any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch using the number below.
Kind Regards,
Immunisation Team (IntraHealth)

Dear Parents/Carers,
We have found a number of issues in getting communications out via the current methods and applications we use. In summary, our communications have fallen short of where we want them to be and I apologise for that.
Sadly, the company we use have been unable to support us to correct these issues, therefore we will be looking for a new solution to communicate effectively with parents.
We will update you as soon as we can.
Thank you for your patience.
Mr Bennett
