5PM had a brilliant afternoon taking part in orienteering activities at the South Marine Park, organised by School Sport Partnership.
As always, behaviour was excellent and the children had a great time.
Here are a few sneaky pictures of our Y6 pupils, who have been to Thurston this week. The weather has been as sunny as a the children’s smiles.
Lots of photos to follow of both our brilliant school based activity week and Thurston activity week but here are a few faces we think you may be missing!
This week is Climate Change A Week of Action and all of our children will be completing activities and having assemblies on a theme associated with climate change. Work the children complete this week will be on the website soon. We are still accepting plastic bottle tops for our Reducing Plastic Pollution collage.
Boxes for photograph orders are located in the Office Reception Area. Completed orders should be returned in the sealed envelope with the full payment and placed in the metal boxes in the Reception Area. Last day for orders is Thursday 24th June 2021.

Bottle Tops
We recently asked for bottle tops for an art project, but we have to clarity that we are only after plastic bottle tops such as milk cartons or drinks bottles. Please do not send in glass bottle tops from alcoholic drinks etc. The picture below is an idea of what we are trying to create! Please send in any you have asap. Thank you

CANCELLED – Year 4 – Sandhaven Beach
Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances the trip to Sandhaven Beach on the afternoon of Friday, 16 July 2021 has had to be cancelled.
Reception had another special visitor today. It was our School Nurse! She told us all about the job she does and even brought in some of the equipment she uses. We also talked about how to keep our bodies strong and healthy. We met Terry the tooth and talked about why it is important to keep our teeth clean. The children answered and asked some fantastic questions.
