We hope you have had a refreshing break and you are ready to return to school. We will re-open to children on Tuesday 6th January 2015. (Monday 5th January is an In-Service day for staff training.)
Don’t forget dinner money will be due on the first day back.
Dinner money is £10.50 per week. It should be sent in to school on the first day of each week (usually Mondays).
1 day £2.10
4 days £8.40
Cheques for dinner money should be made payable to BOST and should have your child’s name and class on the reverse.
Termly milk money is also now due. The cost per term is £9.10 (Cheques payable to BOST) Please pay in a separate envelope to dinner money during the first week of term. If it is not received during the FIRST WEEK OF TERM, it will be assumed your child does not require milk.
We look forward to seeing you, ready to work hard in the year ahead.

Thank you for the marvelous support over the last term! We really appreciate the time taken by everyone to attend our Nursery and Infant nativities, Year 3/4 shows and Year 5/6 Carol concerts.
A huge thank you to everyone who participated in the Christmas Fayre and for helping us to raise money for ‘Save the Children’ charity through wearing Christmas jumpers to school.
It really has been a busy term and on behalf of staff and governors at Mortimer Primary School I would like to wish you and your families a very Happy Christmas and New Year.

To mark the start of our Christmas holidays we would like to invite all children to wear their Christmas jumpers, cardigans or t-shirts once again.
This is to be worn instead of their normal school jumper and to be worn with normal school uniform.
Thank you
Wow! Another fantastic party today with our reception children.
Our very talented choir performed some of their Christmas repertoire yesterday at Sainsburys Supermarket store.
Over the Christmas period they have performed for a number of community groups and last night gave a lovely show for their families back at school.
