Following on from the heats held in October, seven teams competed in a tournament that featured an extremely high standard of play. Mortimer were the only team in South Tyneside who managed to get two teams through to the finals. Both teams played very well. Mortimer A were undefeated and emerged South Tyneside champions. As well as this the coaches commented on the exceptionally high standard of behaviour our teams demonstrated.
