Hello everyone, it’s Mrs Cunningham here again.
It’s July 1st today which is officially National Joke Day! Joke Day is not just a day for you to prove to everyone how funny you are. It is the perfect day for you to share laughs and to put a smile on people’s faces, including your own. Whether you prefer to share jokes or you like to listen to them, this is a day that is all about smiling, laughing, and having fun, and who wouldn’t want to be a part of a day like this?
They say that laughter is the best medicine, and a lot of people would agree with this! I have done a little bit of research and I have found that laughing is good for you!
Laughter can get rid of pain, make your mood happier, and strengthen the cells in your body. Also, mams and dads might be interested to know that laughter can burn calories! I don’t think that lying on the settee reading a joke book is healthier than our daily mile or our Trim Trail, but apparently you can burn 40 calories if you laugh for 10 minutes.
I have had some help from Mr Bennett, Mrs Peacock and Miss Middleton in coming up with some jokes. Now, I am certain you are not going to be losing 40 calories reading these jokes…..maybe 4…if that! Ok, this is what we came up with!! It was one of our funnier management meetings!!
This morning I saw my neighbour talking to her cat, it was obvious that she thought the cat understood her. I came home and told the dog….we laughed a lot!!
Did you hear about the man who invented the knock knock joke? He won a no bell prize!!
I’ve just bought a new car and it’s fantastic! It’s made out of spaghetti. My sister wouldn’t believe her until I drove pasta.
What do you call a cheese that’s not yours? Nacho cheese!!
How do you stop an astronaut’s baby from crying? You rocket!
Have a witty Wednesday.
Mrs Cunningham ….. oh and our 2nd lockdown family birthday. Happy Birthday Mr C.
