Last week, our Year 3 children visited Waterstones in Newcastle to purchase new books for our Key Stage Two library. The children participated in a book recommendation workshop before looking around the shop to select a book of their choice. The children put a great deal of thought into theirĀ selections and tried really hard to buyĀ a fantastic range of books to appeal to children across the juniors. Every child had the experience of purchasing their chosen book over the counter before carrying them back to school to be put on our library shelves. We are all very excited to see the books being borrowed and enjoyed by ourĀ Key Stage Two childrenĀ from September.
