Y4 Viking Day

By A Stelling27th February 2018

Y4 had a fantastic day when The Vikings came to visit on Friday! They learnt all about what The Vikings ate and sampled some of their dishes. They also made butter, learned to write in runes, made clay pots and did some Viking weaving.

The teachers and visiting Vikings were very impressed with how much effort had been put into dressing up for the day.

Thank you so much!

Y6 Reverse Advent Calendar

By A Stelling21st December 2017

Some of our Y6 children decided after learning about different advent calendars to do a reverse advent calendar to help others at Christmas.

We talked about a local charity called Key Project, which supports and helps homeless young people in South Tyneside and decided to donate to them.

Mrs Hayton, Vice Chair of Key Project, was thrilled with the donations and couldn’t praise the children enough for their generosity.
