Last week Miss Anderson’s class designed, made and sold smoothies as part of the Virgin Money Make £5 Grow Project. This was a massive success and an overall profit of £160 was made which will go towards resources for the school.
Yr 4 had a fantastic day on Friday dressing up as Ancient Greeks. They designed Olympic torches, tasted a variety of Greek food and competed in Olympic Games.

Y3 enjoyed a fascinating visit to the Sikh Gurdwara on Thursday July 13th. Mr Singh taught us a lot about what it means to be a Sikh and what happens inside the Gurdwara.
We are very grateful to have to received such warm hospitality and we would like to say a sincere thank you to Mr Singh and everyone who made us so welcome.
Reception had great fun in their PE lessons yesterday taking part in relay races. They were very quick to understand rules and enjoyed cheering and supporting their friends.
Sadly due to a number of year groups committed to other events on Friday, we are unable to participate in the planned Bradley Lowery event.

Despite the unseasonal weather, we managed to find a window on Thursday afternoon for KS2 Sports Day. The children had a great time competing in several different events in their House teams. We then ended the afternoon with our traditional races.
